Senior Financial Reporting Analyst

About the Opportunity:

Sandella Sova is proud to partner with a publicly traded manufacturing company in Columbus, Ohio.

This is a hybrid role.

We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join one of the smallest publicly traded companies in Columbus. This position is highly visible, working closely with the Corporate Controller. You'll be a critical part of the financial statement process for a publicly traded company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Month/Quarter Close: Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including the preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations and financial analyses.
• Leadership: Drive process improvements in capital tracking, reporting, and systems, while preparing ad hoc reporting and analysis for leadership.
• Technology: Maintain and ensure accuracy of the fixed asset and tooling subledger, ensuring compliance with GAAP and supporting income tax processes.
• Visibility: Partner with Engineering, Operations, and plant teams on project tracking and timing, while acting as a key contact for external audits, insurers, and internal controls (SOX).

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related
• 3+ years of experience in industry/public accounting
• Public accounting experience preferred
• Experience working in or consulting on manufacturing companies preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
