Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with on‑call availability 24/7 Salary range: $72,000 – $77,000 annually + 6 % bonus As part of our commitment to a flexible work schedule, this role does not have a set amount of vacation per year. Responsibilities Develop and implement security processes and procedures as required by Presorts contractual obligations; stay abreast of changes and communicate them to staff and management. Evaluate established security guidelines and adjust as needed. Manage the Security Department’s activities including supervision, training and scheduling of staff. Ensure security staff is properly trained in security processes and procedures. Ensure security‑related information is shared on a strictly “need‑to‑know” basis. Investigate security irregularities within the jurisdiction of the department; involve management and Human Resources and ensure proper reporting and documentation. Establish, develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement. Maintain knowledge of facility‑related OSHA regulations and ensure compliance; contract with and supervise facility‑related outside contractors. Manage the cleaning and maintenance of the facility. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications Ability to work assigned schedule, but will require on‑call 24/7 and some weekend work. Minimum two‑year supervisory experience in a relevant area where familiarity with USPS requirements and/or regulations is applied (presort, mailroom or associated industries) preferred. Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience in a production or warehouse environment. Comprehensive knowledge of security systems and investigative techniques. Maintenance trade skills. Knowledge of facility‑related OSHA regulations. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Well‑developed communication skills, both oral and written. Proficiency in spoken and written English. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodations). Ability to walk, stand, stoop and bend at least 80 % of the time (with or without accommodations).
