This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician specializing in hospital inpatient care, supporting medication management and sterile product preparation in a hospital setting. The role focuses on ensuring accuracy and safety in medication handling and inventory within the pharmacy department.

Location: Richland Center, WI

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 7 AM to 7 PM
• Weekends: 7 AM to 3 PM (every 4th weekend rotation)
• Weekday shifts alternate between 8 and 10 hours

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, with an ASAP start

Key Responsibilities:

• Restock Pyxis machines and maintain medication inventory levels
• Conduct outdate checks and restock medications, IVs, and supplies
• Enter charges accurately and assist with ordering and receiving drug shipments
• Monitor storage temperatures to ensure compliance with safety standards
• Prepare sterile products, including chemotherapy, and perform daily cleanroom cleaning
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the pharmacy team

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license or the ability to obtain one promptly
• Approximately 2 years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong attention to detail and familiarity with sterile product preparation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends on a rotational basis
