About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Development to spearhead its acquisition strategy and execution. This pivotal role involves leading the identification, evaluation, and integration of acquisitions that will accelerate the company's growth and expand its market position. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities, establishing key relationships in the industry, and managing all phases of the transaction process. Importantly, this role is not limited to deal-making; the VP will also be tasked with ensuring the successful integration and value creation post-acquisition. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate development, with a focus on the medical device or broader medtech industry, and a proven track record of leading end-to-end acquisition processes. Candidates for the Vice President of Corporate Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and at least 10 years' of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, strategy consulting, or a related field. A background in the medical device or medtech industry is strongly preferred, as is experience within private equity-backed organizations. The role requires a hands-on, execution-oriented leader with exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and strategic analysis capabilities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, highly accountable, and have the ability to influence senior stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the CEO and private equity sponsor, shaping the future of a growing medical technology platform and playing a critical role in creating long-term enterprise value.
