Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) supporting students in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you'll provide hands-on student care, manage day-to-day health needs in the school health room, and help create a safe and supportive environment for students. Why Join Us Competitive pay (Up to $55/hour) + consistent school-year schedule Meaningful, student-centered work in a supportive school environment W-2 employment with liability insurance included Healthcare benefits* + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure, CEUs, and professional expenses Mileage reimbursement between sites + referral bonuses What You'll Do Triage and manage student injuries, illnesses, and chronic conditions Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and care plans Provide first aid and respond to student health concerns throughout the school day Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance Communicate with families regarding student health needs and updates Collaborate with teachers, school staff, administrators, and special education teams Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as appropriate Respond to emergencies and follow school safety protocols Monitor immunization compliance and support health screenings Promote student health, safety, and wellness throughout the school What We're Looking For Active Colorado State RN license School Nursing CDE or ability to obtain Ability to pass fingerprinting and background check Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or public health preferred Strong clinical judgment, organization, and communication skills Passion for supporting students and their health needs About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a therapist-owned and operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
