Quality Assurance Analyst (SQL Server, Database Testing & Test Automation):

Seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support software testing, quality assurance, database validation, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in SQL Server database testing, test planning, defect management, and quality assurance methodologies. This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, developers, and technical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project requirements, business objectives, and technical specifications.

• Analyze functional and design documents to identify testing requirements.

• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Perform manual testing and support automated testing initiatives.

• Validate software functionality, business processes, and system integrations.

• Conduct database testing within Microsoft SQL Server environments.

• Design and manipulate test data for testing activities.

• Validate stored procedures, jobs, triggers, and replication processes.

• Track and report defects, test results, and overall testing status.

• Collect and analyze quality metrics to improve software quality processes.

• Facilitate test plan reviews and testing discussions with project teams.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and demonstrations.

• Document issues, defects, and resolutions throughout the testing lifecycle.

• Perform quality audits to ensure compliance with standards and methodologies.

• Deliver quality assurance process training and support technical teams.

• Participate in meetings with State and Federal stakeholders as required.

• Research emerging technologies and recommend process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience designing and manipulating test data.

• Experience validating stored procedures, jobs, triggers, and replication.

• Ability to interpret technical requirements and develop test plans.

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams.
