Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Compensation: $60 - $65 Schedule: Full Time Location: West Long Island, NY Practice Model: Assisted Hygiene Patient Mix: PPO / FFS Benefits Eligibility: Employees regularly scheduled to work 30+ hours per week may be eligible for benefits. About the Role United Dental Corporation is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing team in the vibrant West Long Island area. We are looking for a hygienist who is passionate about patient education, preventive care, and delivering an exceptional patient experience. Specific practice placement will be discussed during the interview process based on your experience, schedule preferences, geographic considerations, and business needs. Candidates may be considered for multiple practices within the region. What Your Day Looks Like We utilize an assisted hygiene model designed to maximize efficiency while allowing hygienists to focus on patient care. In this model: Patients are scheduled across two hygiene columns Dedicated clinical support assists with room turnover and patient flow Assistants prepare treatment rooms and seat the next patient while the hygienist completes documentation and doctor handoffs Doctor exams are integrated into the patient workflow Established patient base and recall program Modern technology and digital workflows Collaborative clinical environment focused on quality patient care Opportunities to build long-term patient relationships What You'll Do Perform dental prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance Conduct periodontal charting and assessments Take diagnostic radiographs Deliver patient education and oral hygiene instruction Identify and communicate treatment needs to patients and providers Maintain accurate clinical documentation Support comprehensive patient care through collaboration with dentists and team members Promote preventive dentistry and long-term oral health Requirements Active Dental Hygiene License in New York, NY Local Anesthesia Certification (if applicable by state) Current CPR/BLS Certification Strong communication and patient education skills Commitment to quality patient care Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Preferred Experience with assisted hygiene models Experience in PPO and Fee-for-Service environments Experience with periodontal therapy Experience with patient education and treatment acceptance Bilingual skills Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for: Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) with 4% Employer Match Paid Holidays Paid Time Off (PTO) Continuing Education Support Insurance benefits begin the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
