Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) is a registered professional nurse who coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care according to Texas Board of Nursing. Position Summary Registered Nurse at El Paso Behavioral Health System, a private 167-bed psychiatric hospital located in El Paso, Texas, specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care. Qualifications Must have availability on Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday. Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program; Bachelor's Degree preferred. A minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience preferred. Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing. Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. Must have current CPR certification upon hire. Successful completion of Handle With Care, including physical hold and verbal de-escalation during orientation.
