We would like to hire someone interested in a career, not a job, who wants to do the work and be recognized for a job well done!The Warehouse Clerk supports Construction and Manufacturing Operations by accurately receiving, organizing, tracking, issuing, and replenishing materials, and inventory. This role ensures crews and production personnel have the right materials at the right time while maintaining inventory accuracy, warehouse organization, and safety standards.Receiving & Inventory ControlReceive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.Process receipts accurately within the Receiving systems.Label and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies.Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.Material FulfillmentPick, stage, and distribute materials for construction projects & manufacturing work orders.Process internal material requests accurately and efficiently.Support jobsite deliveries and material transfers between facilities.Coordinate urgent material requirements with project teams.Warehouse OrganizationMaintain clean, organized, and clearly identified storage locations.Support continuous improvement of warehouse layouts and inventory locations.Ensure proper material handling and storage practices.Assist with annual physical inventory counts.Safety & ComplianceFollow all company and OSHA safety requirements.Maintain a safe warehouse environment.Participate in safety meetings and training.Report hazards and safety concerns immediately.Process & DocumentationMaintain accurate inventory records and transaction history.Ensure all warehouse documentation is completed and filed appropriately.Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and material flow.Ensure smooth movement of materials from receiving through issuance so construction and manufacturing operations are never delayed by material shortages.What You Bring (Required Experience)2+ years of warehouse, inventory, logistics, or material management experienceExperience with inventory control and cycle countingExperience using inventory management, or warehouse systemsBasic Microsoft Office proficiencyAbility to lift, organize, and move warehouse materials safelyStrong attention to detail and recordkeeping skillsAbility to work effectively with field operations and manufacturing personnelBonus Points For (Preferred Experience)Electrical construction industry experienceManufacturing inventory experienceForklift certificationExperience with barcode scanning systemsTechnical understanding of electrical materials and componentsExperience in Warehouse ERP management systemsWhat We Offer – Why Choose Suburban Enterprises?Team Member Ownership: Work for a company where your contributions directly impact your futureCommitment to Safety: Safety isn't just a priority; it's our promise to you and your familyCareer Growth: This isn't just a job - it's a career path with opportunities for advancementContinuous Learning: Investment in your professional developmentCollaborative Culture: Work with a team that values respect, integrity, and excellenceComprehensive Benefits: Competitive pay, ESOP, 401(K) with employer match, and no healthcare premium increases for 4 yearsReady to Join Us?Our high standards of service to our customers and clients require that we select only the top team members based on our culture and core values so please read and understand them or come with clarifying questions because we work, live, hire and promote by them.
