Quality Inspector

Quality InspectorWe are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our Chaska team. At Entegris, we use advanced science and manufacturing excellence to enable technologies that transform the world. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products meet strict quality and customer specifications. You will perform visual and measurement-based inspections, complete process audits, document findings, and partner closely with production teams to resolve discrepancies. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in precision, enjoy analytical work, and are motivated to grow within a team-oriented environment. This role will support and work on the 2nd shift from 2 PM-10 PM CST Monday-Friday. Shift differential bonus provided as well!What You'll Do:Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products against specifications using visual, mechanical, and measurement-based methodsPerform measurement tests using tools such as calipers, pin gages, height gages, indicators, micrometers, optical comparators, smart scopes, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)Approve or reject product based on defined criteria; create quality notifications (QN) for non-conformances and document findings thoroughlyCommunicate discrepancies promptly to supervisors and production teams, partnering to determine root causes and appropriate next stepsComplete inspection reports, logs, and digital entries within quality databases and ERP systems such as SAPConduct process audits and perform capability studies to support continuous improvement and process stabilityKeep measurement equipment in good working order by following operation guidelines and reporting repair needsMaintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment by following all standards, procedures, and regulatory requirementsSupport cross-functional teams with data, insights, and collaborative problem solving to drive product and process excellencePerform additional duties as needed to support quality, production goals, and customer expectationsWhat We Seek:High school diploma or equivalent required2+ years of quality/inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferredAbility to read and understand documented processes and proceduresCompetency in reading blueprints, technical specifications, and inspection documentationExperience using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, pin gages, height gages, dial indicators, optical comparators, smart scopes, and CMM equipmentFamiliarity with SAP, quality systems, or digital inspection tools preferredUnderstanding of statistical process control (SPC), basic chart interpretation, and capability analysisStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as neededAbility to stand or sit for extended periods while performing inspectionsManual dexterity to use precision measurement tools and handle small componentsAbility to work in manufacturing environments requiring PPE such as safety glasses and steel toe shoesWhat We Offer:At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
