Quality Inspector – 1st ShiftQuality Inspector – 1st ShiftShakopee, MN 55379$17.00/hrFullTimeFebruary 25, 202648312140Job DescriptionAbout the Opportunity:Job Title: Quality InspectorPay Rate: $17.00/hrLocation: Shakopee, MNSchedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6AM-2PMPosition Type: Temp to HireRequirements and Qualifications:Basic knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification codes.Basic knowledge of warehouse procedures and familiarity with the storage areas in order to be able to place or pull paper stock, signatures and materials in accordance with standard procedures.Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks; detail oriented.Reading, writing, math, and communication skills at a proficient level.Basic skill in the use of manual dollies, carts or hand trucks or hand tools used in material handling tasks such as hammers, pliers, strapping and stretch wrapping tools and equipment, tape fasteners, metal band sheers and related equipment.Must have the ability to read and write simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.Ability to stand for multiple hours at a time.Team oriented.Proficient in English preferred.Excellent hand dexterity.Must be able to maintain good attendance.Must be willing to work weekend overtime as needed.Must be able to frequently lift up to 20lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50lbs.Duties and Responsibilities:Inspecting printed and finished materials for defects.Using rulers to measure finished goods.Filling out quality control paperwork.General understanding of quality control preferred.Discover Award Staffing: At Award Staffing, we believe that work should be more than just a paycheck—it should inspire, empower, and create a sense of purpose.Why Award Staffing:Values Matching: We don't just help you find a job; we connect you with a company that aligns with your values, ensuring it's the right fit for who you are.Professional & Personal Growth: Your growth matters to us.
