We are currently seeking a skilled DSCR Underwriting Manager to join Our Client in Charlotte. As the DSCR Underwriting Manager, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and evaluating debt service coverage ratios for commercial real estate projects. Your work will directly impact the company's decision-making process and financial success, making this role vital to our operations.
You will be involved in a variety of projects, including assessing the financial viability of real estate investments, conducting risk analysis, and providing recommendations to senior management. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and profitability of Huffman Associates while honing your underwriting skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze debt service coverage ratios for commercial real estate transactions.
- Evaluate financial statements, cash flow projections, and other relevant financial data.
- Assess risks associated with real estate investments and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure underwriting standards are met.
- Prepare detailed underwriting reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulations, and best practices in underwriting.
- Manage a team of underwriters and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of underwriting processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Proven experience in commercial real estate underwriting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent knowledge of debt service coverage ratios and financial analysis.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and underwriting software.
- Leadership experience and the ability to manage a team.
