Edgestone Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Technician for a well-established manufacturing facility in Brockton, MA . This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with industrial sewing, stitching, upholstery, textile, leather goods, footwear, or heavy-duty sewing machine experience who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment.

Schedule
Monday-Thursday
5:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Enjoy a consistent 4-day work week with Fridays off.
Pay
- $21.00 per hour
- 90-day introductory period with performance review
What You'll Do
- Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain industrial sewing and stitching machines
- Read and interpret work orders and production tickets
- Adjust machine settings to meet customer specifications for height, width, thickness, and stitch quality
- Install and adjust sewing machine components including:
- Stitcher heads
- Gatherers
- Pockets
- Three-knife trimmers
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Troubleshoot machine issues and perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance
- Adjust thread tension, replace bobbins, thread needles, and lubricate moving parts
- Monitor thread inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Work closely with supervisors to maintain efficient production and meet delivery deadlines
Qualifications
Required:
- Previous experience operating industrial sewing or stitching machines in a manufacturing environment
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and adjust sewing equipment
- Ability to read work orders and follow production specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
