Mammographer, Full Time-$15,000 Sign on Bonus

Responsibilities Under general supervision of the Manager of Breast Imaging, the Mammography Technologist provides mammographic technical skills to support the department mission. Duties include working as a technologist and serving in other areas and/or modalities as necessary. The Mammography Technologist performs mammography exams for the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury in patients of all ages. Qualifications Knowledge of principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology and mammography, including the operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment such as mammography systems, is required. A minimum of two years of post‑high‑school training in an approved radiologic technology program is required. MSRT/ARRT (M) is required, and a valid State Radiology/Mammography license and all applicable education requirements are mandatory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective interaction with patients and for instructing students and providing technical supervision to staff technologists.
