Temporary Medical Billing & Collections Representative

Your Role on the Team Job duties include, but are not limited to: Review and resolve professional fee billing and collections accounts to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement from Medicare, Medi‑Cal, commercial insurance, Workers' Compensation, and other payers. Investigate billing issues, correct claim errors, and follow up on outstanding accounts using aging reports, worklists, and payer correspondence. Research and analyze patient accounts to resolve billing discrepancies while providing excellent customer service to patients, providers, and insurance carriers. Maintain productivity standards while ensuring compliance with payer guidelines, organizational policies, and billing procedures. What It Takes to be Successful Experience with professional fee medical billing and collections, including Medicare, Medi‑Cal, commercial insurance, and HMO/capitation plans. Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and ability to review, analyze, and resolve patient accounts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong customer service orientation. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet productivity goals, and work collaboratively in a fast‑paced healthcare environment. Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.
