Patient Information Specialist (Billing Support) | $20-$24/hr | Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM | Temporary (2-3 Months)

Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a Medical Diagnostic Laboratory in Irvine seeking a Patient Information Specialist / Billing Support Specialist to assist through a high-volume period. This is a temporary role (2-3 months) focused on outbound calls to clinics and providers to obtain patient information needed for billing and claims processing.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable on the phone, and experienced in medical office or healthcare administrative workflows.

• Employment Type: Temporary (2-3 months)
• Pay Rate: $20-$24/hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Location: onsite in Irvine, CA

Key Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to physicians, clinics, and healthcare providers to request patient or claim information
• Follow up on incomplete records needed to move forward with the billing and claims process
• Accurately document updates and communications in internal systems
• Review patient files and identify missing or incorrect information
• Maintain organized tracking of outreach and follow-ups
• Support billing and administrative teams in clearing backlog and meeting deadlines
• Handle communications professionally and efficiently with external offices
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and compliance standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office, healthcare admin, or billing support role preferred
• Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and following up
• Clear, professional communication skills (phone and written)
