Northeast Regional Sales Manager

Overview As our regional sales leader, you'll be the driving force behind growth in the Northeast territory. This field-based role demands a motivated self-starter ready to travel extensively and engage with distributors, contractors, lighting designers, and key accounts. Your strategic efforts will ensure our innovative lighting solutions reach more customers and generate measurable growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, market share, and profitability across CT, DE, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT, VA, and WV. Build and nurture strong relationships with electrical distributors and key customers through regular visits and joint sales calls. Grow existing accounts by increasing product penetration and purchasing frequency; reactivate dormant accounts to turn them into thriving clients. Support, train, and evaluate independent sales agencies and representatives, ensuring they meet sales goals and product knowledge benchmarks. Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer-facing sessions such as distributor counter days and training events. Travel a minimum of three weeks per month to stay connected with your team and customers throughout the region. Identify new opportunities and underserved markets, expanding our reach and driving continued growth. Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to recommend product and strategic developments to management. Must-Have Qualifications Reside within the designated Northeast territory. Willingness and ability to travel at least three weeks per month. Proven experience in sales within the lighting industry, ideally with LED and architectural or commercial lighting. Experience working with electrical distributors and lighting/reps agencies. Strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently across multiple states, managing a large territory. Nice-to-Have Experience selling through electrical distributors. Demonstrated success in business development and account growth strategies.
