Position Overview

Transaction Execution Analysts support front-office and investment teams by coordinating and executing transactions from initiation through settlement or closing. The role blends execution support, analytical review, and cross-functional coordination to ensure transactions are completed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with internal and external requirements.

These roles typically involve close collaboration with traders, investment professionals, operations teams, legal counsel, and risk and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the execution of financial transactions across trades, investments, or deals

• Coordinate execution workflows, timelines, and deliverables across internal teams and external counterparties

• Ensure transaction details are accurately captured, reviewed, and approved prior to execution

• Monitor transaction progress and resolve execution or documentation issues

• Analyze execution outcomes, costs, and variances relative to expectations

• Assist with trade or deal confirmations, settlement coordination, and closing processes

• Support compliance checks, approvals, and execution controls

• Prepare execution summaries, reports, and post-transaction analyses for senior stakeholders

• Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to execution best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field

• Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, execution processes, and financial instruments

• Experience or coursework in trading, investment banking, deal execution, or operations (preferred)

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Python, SQL, or execution systems is a plus

• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders

• Strong interest in transaction execution, markets, and investment processes
