Representative Role OverviewA leading middle-market investment bank or advisory firm may seek a Transaction Execution Analyst to support clients in M&A, capital raises, divestitures, and restructuring transactions . These roles are ideal for candidates seeking hands-on experience in transaction execution , rigorous financial analysis, and structured professional development in corporate finance.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport transaction execution activities across M&A, restructuring, and capital market deals
Build and maintain financial models , including 3-statement projections, DCF, LBO, and accretion/dilution analyses
Conduct industry research, financial statement analysis, and company benchmarking to inform client decisions
Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda, and client presentations
Assist with due diligence, data room organization, and transaction coordination
Collaborate with senior bankers and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and accurate deal execution
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics , or a related field
Strong skills in financial modeling, valuation, and transaction analysis
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, private equity, audit, or FP&A is beneficial
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint , and common financial research tools
