College Intern - Maritime Environmental Finance

Position Overview This full‑time summer and part‑time school‑year internship (expected to last one year) supports the Environmental Finance team in organizing, reviewing, and collecting documents from the past 15 years. Work involves accessing current and historical documents, organizing electronic files using CoPilot, assisting with document review for archiving or deletion, interviewing team members, collaborating with other teams, and creating comprehensive “how to” / SOPs, including video, portable MS Word or PDF files, and policy work. Responsibilities Learn about the functions of the Port Learn about the operations of all aspects of the Port Participate in invoicing, LEAN process, continuous process improvement, strategy for document management and development of policy, standard operating practices, and finalizing strategy and work documents. Work Schedule & Environment Full‑time summer and about 30 hours per week during school year. Hybrid remote/office with regular site visits; flexible work arrangements available. Limited‑duration: no longer than one year. Must live in Washington State. Qualifications Student: currently enrolled in an undergraduate program or a recent graduate ( Committed to equity; exemplify shared values, behaviors, and practices. Knowledge of Microsoft Office; quick learner; bonus if experienced with SharePoint and financial software. Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Organized and proactive with a track record of meeting tight deadlines in fast‑paced environments.
