Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting young learners in a dynamic school setting. This part-time, onsite position is crafted for professionals who are eager to make a significant impact on K-2 students by both supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and addressing diverse behavioral needs.
From September to October, you'll provide direct supervision to RBTs working primarily with students with multiple disabilities, ensuring that programming and interventions are delivered with fidelity and compassion. Following this initial phase, your focus will shift to tier II and III interventions—helping broader groups of K-2 students with general behavioral challenges. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a vibrant population just under 500 students, providing invaluable support across the school year.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification and in good standing
- Experience in school-based settings, particularly with early childhood/elementary populations
- Proven ability to supervise and mentor RBTs
- Strong understanding of functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention planning
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Experience working with children with multiple disabilities is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide RBTs delivering behavioral interventions to K-2 students
- Conduct behavioral assessments and craft individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
- Focus on early intervention and both intensive (tier III) and targeted (tier II) behavioral support
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and contribute to success tracking
