Preschool Substitute Teachers

Position Summary These part‑time roles will be filling in on an as‑needed basis at our preschool at our Mount Dora Campus. Some of the responsibilities of the role include: Nurturing and guiding children to promote their social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual growth Ensure the health and wellbeing of all children at all times Establish and maintain a respectful relationship with parents, families and co‑workers Follow and adhere to curriculum; learn to plan and implement age appropriate lessons and activities Follow guidance of Lead Teacher Maintain compliance with CSF, DCF and Real Life policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned Desired Qualifications HS diploma or GED required Interest in furthering education; CDA, FCCPC or degree in field Have or obtain DCF state mandated training within first 90 days of employment Have or obtain First Aid/CPR certification, Blood‑borne Pathogens and Fire Extinguisher training Required annual in‑service training/CEU’s and training as required for professional growth Work Experience Minimum 1yr. experience as a teacher assistant or substitute in an early learning environment Evolving knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices in Early Childhood Education Desired Personal Skills Professes Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior Is (or is willing to be) immersed believer and member of Real Life Church who adheres to the Real Life Membership Covenant Commitment to upholding the Core Values of Real Life Church (real, relevant, relational, excellent, effective, empowering, unified) Commitment to the Core Beliefs of Real Life Commitment to personal spiritual growth and healthy lifestyle Models standards and expectations of leaders within Real Life Church Submits and is accountable to Church Leadership Model giving with a cheerful heart Resourceful and intuitive Organized and motivated Responsible and respectful Punctual Join our team and make a difference in the lives of young learners!
