Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.Leads, mentors, and develops Instructors, supporting their success in the role and their growth at AmericanManages the successful execution of ILT, virtual instructor-led (VILT) and other ad-hoc training deliveryIdentifies and prioritizes all Cargo course offeringsManages Instructor team member schedules to ensure training needs are efficiently met for all the global Cargo terminalsPartners with Skyview 5 (SV5) and Skyview 6 (SV6) Management to ensure operational efficiency while maintaining a professional learning environmentEnsures that station and vendor requests for in station training needs are appropriately prioritized and metAssists and supports department leader in a collaborative and developmental manner when applicableAssists in the development and updating of cargo curriculumAll you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceBachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training3+ years of relevant experienceExperience with cargo operationsPreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceProven success leading teams, building effective relationships, and collaborating across a wide variety of cross functional teams and initiativesProficiency in MS Suite (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, Learning Hub, Concur and iCargo applicationAdvanced verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to articulate complex requirementsPrevious airport management experience in Cargo and/or Station OperationsProgram management experience & prior experience in the field of learning and development a plusSkills, Licenses & CertificationsProficiency in MS Suite (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, Learning Hub and iCargo applicationAdvanced verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to articulate complex requirementsProven collaboration skills working across cross functional teamsMust have outstanding organizational and multitasking skills; must be detailed orientatedAbility to fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable Applicable valid driver’s license as required by local authorities, if applicable What you'll getFeel free to take advantage of all that American Airlines has to offer: Travel Perks: Ready to explore the world?
