About the Role:

Formica Family Dental Practice is looking for an experienced and motivated Dental Front Office Team Lead who values Patient Care, Teamwork and Integrity.  We are looking for someone with more than 2 years Dental Front office experience, preferrably using Open Dental.  This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role in a warm, patient-focused dental office where your organizational skills and positive energy will make a real difference every day.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily front office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience from check-in to check-out
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in scheduling, patient communication, and documentation.
• Audit the schedule, verifying dental insurance benefits and eligibility. 
• Present and explain treatment plans, financial arrangements, and payment options.
• Work with E-assist on insurance claims, follow-ups and pre-authorizations.
• Lead, mentor, and support front office team members to maintain high performance standards
• Collect and post patient payments, manage billing, and handle accounts receivable
• Collaborate with doctors and clinical staff to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Identify opportunities to improve office systems and procedures.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of dental front office experience required; leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Proficiency in Open Dental
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance verification, billing, and claims processing
• Strong understanding of auditing a schedule to promote effectiveness.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Dependable, hard working, and a natural team leader
