Pediatric Anesthesiologist

BronxCare Health System, the largest not-for-profit health and teaching hospital system in the South and Central Bronx, is seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist. This role offers the opportunity to join a collaborative care-team model within a system recognized for its excellence and clinical collaboration with the Mount Sinai Health System. The position involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care for pediatric patients across a diverse range of surgical cases. Practice Info Largest not-for-profit health and teaching hospital system covering the South and Central Bronx Clinical Collaboration with the Mount Sinai Health System Medical school affiliation with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai 16 accredited fellowship and residency programs Collaborative care-team model Case assignments include Peds, endo, general, ENT, neuro, vascular, GYN, plastics Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation Salary: $600K Pedi fellowship stipend: $50K annually Sign-on bonus: Up to $100K package Loan repayment or training assistance program Benefits Generous paid time off Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts 401(k) Profit sharing Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule Contact us for more information.
