BronxCare, NYC's largest not-for-profit health and teaching hospital system, is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their collaborative team. This role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care to patients undergoing various medical procedures. Practice Info Collaborative care-team model Case assignments include Peds, endo, general, ENT, neuro, vascular, GYN, plastics Responsibilities Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed Compensation Salary: $600,000 Sign-on Package: up to $100,000 Loan repayment or training assistance program funding options available Benefits Generous paid time off Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts 401(k) Profit sharing Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage Leadership and professional development opportunities Shift & Schedule Contact us for more information regarding shifts Requirements M.D./D.O.
