Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a minimum of 18 months of CVICU experience and an OH or Compact RN license currently in hand.

Details

• Works in a hospital CVICU (Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit)
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Day/night rotating shifts: days run 7:00am–7:30pm and nights run 7:00pm–7:30am
• Shift times may vary based on operational needs of the unit

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of permanent (non-travel) experience in CVICU prior to any travel experience
• Minimum 18 months of recent CVICU experience required (travel experience accepted)
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Two professional references are required
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation — a passing score on both is required
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location; a minimum 6-month gap is required before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
