Automation Engineer - Sanofi
Gravity Engineering Services Pvt Ltd.
Key Responsibilities Design, architect, and implement automation solutions for small‑to‑medium manufacturing projects, including continuous improvement and retrofit initiatives. Develop and maintain PLC programs, SCADA configurations, and HMI interfaces to support production and capital investment projects. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve automation issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance. Document design specifications, test plans, and operational procedures for new and upgraded automation systems. Provide technical guidance and training to operators and maintenance staff on new automation features and best practices. Requirements Proven experience in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and SCADA/HMI development. Strong knowledge of industrial Ethernet protocols (PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP). Hands‑on experience with Python for scripting and data analysis in an industrial context. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently on complex projects.
