Superintendent - Construction

Path Construction is seeking a qualified Superintendent to join our team in the Chicago, IL area. We are a rapidly growing commercial general contractor headquartered in Arlington Heights, IL, with additional offices in Charlotte, NC; Knoxville, TN; Tampa, FL; Dallas, TX; and Phoenix, AZ. Our projects span across the country. This role is suited for someone with 5+ years of construction management experience who is comfortable leading field operations across a variety of project types. The Superintendent plays a critical role in managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and at a high level of quality. We are seeking individuals with strong leadership, problem-solving ability, and a deep understanding of construction means and methods across multiple trades. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all on-site construction activities from project start through completion Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and field personnel Maintain project schedules and ensure work is progressing on time Oversee site safety and enforce company safety standards and procedures Manage quality control and ensure work meets project specifications Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and project stakeholders Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on track Support project teams with coordination, logistics, and overall execution Founded in 2008, Path Construction delivers a wide range of construction services across multiple regions nationwide.
