The Role at a Glance: We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and flexible Full-Time Food Service Worker to join our Elior School Dining team at Norris Center. In this role, you will assist with preparing, serving, and distributing meals and snacks while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen. We are seeking a reliable team member who enjoys working in a team environment and can adapt to changing operational needs.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility to work through dinner service (5:30 PM–6:30 PM). Additional scheduling flexibility is required to provide coverage during employee vacations and planned time off.

What You'll Be Doing: Preparing, serving, and distributing meals and snacks across four separate buildings. Assisting with daily meal preparation, including meals and snacks prepared in advance for weekend service. Supporting breakfast, lunch, and dinner operations as scheduled. Assisting with dinner service between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM. Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, food preparation areas, and dish room. Washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and following proper food safety and sanitation procedures. Assisting with food storage, stocking, and inventory as needed. Providing additional coverage and support during team members' vacations and scheduled absences. Working collaboratively with a small team to ensure consistent, high-quality meal service.

What We're Looking For: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Dependable, flexible, and willing to assist with various food service responsibilities. Availability to work a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule, including dinner service as needed. Flexibility to adjust schedules to accommodate vacation coverage and operational needs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and sanitation standards.

Nice-to-Haves: Previous food service, kitchen, or meal preparation experience. Experience working in a residential facility, healthcare, or similar food service environment. Knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures.
