Travel Physical Therapist - $2,471 per week

Job Overview The TNAA TotalMed Allied group is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a temporary assignment in Largo, Maryland. Location & Duration Location: Largo, Maryland Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Hours: 40 hours (8‑hour shifts) Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Perform evaluation, development, and execution of individualized plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill services within the setting while adhering to facility guidelines. Understand and comply with state PT board rules and regulations. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused care plans. Familiarize yourself with adaptive equipment. Evaluate and create plans of care. Modify plans of care as indicated based on patient’s condition. Use medical center computer systems for daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications 1 year of clinical experience preferred; 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates. New graduates encouraged to apply. Must hold BLS certification and state‑specific PT license. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required prior to assignment.
