We focus on restoring functionality through a wide array of services, including orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and post-surgical rehabilitation, fostered in a supportive and motivating atmosphere.Work EnvironmentThis position is based onsite in our vibrant rehabilitation facility, which features modern equipment and therapeutic tools to aid in the delivery of exceptional patient care. The environment encourages collaboration among healthcare professionals, allowing for integrated treatment plans and optimal outcomes for our patients. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility to meet patient needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, aiming to enhance their mobility, strength, and overall functionality.Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and stretches, fostering improvements in physical well-being and pain management.Educate patients on proper body mechanics and home exercise programs to promote continuity of care outside the clinical setting.Utilize modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy to assist in treatment under supervision.Monitor patient progress diligently, effectively documenting changes in range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities.Prepare and maintain treatment areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are in optimal condition for therapy sessions.Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including other physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure comprehensive care.Provide emotional support and encouragement, reinforcing a positive environment conducive to rehabilitation.Uphold ethical and professional standards by maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting their rights throughout their care process.Patient Population / Client FocusYou will work with a diverse range of patients at different stages of recovery, from young athletes striving to return to play to seniors enhancing their mobility post-injury. Our center values a holistic approach, ensuring we cater to the unique needs of each individual, optimizing their outcomes, and enhancing their quality of life.QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist.At least one year of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage patients.Preferred ExperienceWhile candidates with one year of experience are encouraged to apply, those with experience in various rehabilitation settings, particularly orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, will be highly valued.
