Our home care facility ensures all necessary support systems are in place, fostering an environment of collaboration and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver individualized orthopedic therapy treatments in accordance with best practices and professional standards, focusing on restoring function and mitigating pain.Conduct thorough assessments that guide treatment plans, documenting patient progress and adjusting plans as necessary.Supervise and mentor physical therapist assistants and technicians, ensuring high-quality execution of care plans and maintaining professional standards.Implement innovative rehabilitation techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education, to facilitate recovery and enhance patient outcomes.Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay abreast of advancements in orthopedic therapy and contribute to the continuous improvement of our care processes.Patient Population / Client FocusIn this role, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will be responsible for developing specialized treatment protocols that address the diverse needs of our patients, often requiring adaptations to ensure efficacy based on the patient's living environment.QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program is required; a Master's Degree is preferred due to our specialized focus.An active state licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey is mandatory.A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is essential.Certification in CPR is highly recommended unless already mandated by organizational policy.Strong assessment, evaluation, and care planning skills are required to create effective treatment strategies.Excellent communication skills are essential for interaction with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams.Preferred ExperienceExperience in home health care settings is an advantage, providing insight into delivering care in non-traditional environments.Prior mentorship or supervisory experience is preferable to enhance team dynamics.Familiarity with innovative treatment technologies and methods in orthopedic rehabilitation can set candidates apart.Compensation and BenefitsFor this pivotal role, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
