Step into a rewarding role supporting students by providing speech-language therapy services for the upcoming school year. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for SLPs motivated to make a difference in the educational setting. As an itinerant therapist, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and a multidisciplinary team to help students reach their communication goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Active SLP license in Texas (or eligibility for Texas licensure)
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFYs) also encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in schools, pediatrics, or teletherapy highly valued
• Understanding of or willingness to learn common IEP platforms (training available)
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language assessments and direct therapy to students across assigned schools
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), documenting progress
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and school personnel
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, with indirect/administrative time included
• Utilize provided therapy materials and dedicated space, when available
• Support students’ learning and social development through evidence-based practices
• Maintain compliance with all administrative and district requirements
