Job Title: North Haven Public Schools Technology Department Assistant Department: Office of Community Engagement Student Employment Type: Federal Work-Study Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair a variety of technology devices, including laptops, chromebooks, desktops, tablets, AV equipment, and other network connected devices Image and prepare computers for deployment, and assist with the organization of device distribution and collection Provide technical support to staff and students through a ticket system and walk-up technology help center Gain an understanding of the diverse functions within a technology department Qualifications: This position requires no previous experience; however, candidates should have a strong aptitude for problem solving. Good interpersonal skills both in-person and over phone and technology, with a customer service mindset, is essential Strong oral and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel and Outlook Interest and/or prior experience with fixing/repairing, etc of electronic and computing equipment is helpful Hours of Position: Operational hours of the office are Monday-Friday 8am - 4pm.
