Welder Position

Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced welder for a long-term opportunity with a well-established manufacturing company in Fresno. This role is hands-on, working with a variety of welding techniques in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and/or stick welding on metal components.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and basic technical drawings.
• Measure, cut, and prepare materials for welding.
• Use grinders, saws, and finishing tools to clean and smooth welds.
• Inspect completed work to ensure weld quality and structural soundness.
• Maintain equipment and keep a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow all safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior welding experience required (certification not necessary).
• Ability to read blueprints or basic mechanical drawings.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable work ethic.
• Experience with TIG welding is a plus, but not required.
