If you have a wealth of expertise in engineering designs, drawing creation and construction observation, we need your talents! Where you’ll work The position is based in our Aurora, Illinois, office. What you’ll do Complete hands‑on field and office work to help the firm advance projects. Have substantial knowledge and expertise with engineering designs, drawing creation, sample collection and construction observation. Interpret complex drawings, plans and specifications. Assess work, record activities and quantities, verify materials, ensure plans are followed and conduct environmental sampling. Support, manage and teach entry‑level technicians in the field. Create drawings using CAD. Plan and conduct complete project scope or a portion of a more diverse or larger project. Prepare calculations, summary sheets and data. Maintain field and office equipment. Develop leadership skills that build autonomy. What it takes Associate degree in Surveying Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology, or Construction Technology. 10 years of experience (a must). Have a valid driver’s license.
