MRI Technologist – Full-Time Permanent

Work Location: Liberty, MO

Position: MRI Technologist

Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Schedule: Tuesday–Friday | 12:00 PM–10:30 PM | 10-hour shifts

Weekend Requirement: No

Pay: Up to$60/hr

Responsibilities

- Perform MRI examinations using established protocols and MR techniques.

- Prepare patients, provide appropriate care, and ensure accurate patient positioning.

- Perform venipuncture, manage IV access, and administer prescribed medications.

- Select appropriate pulse sequences based on patient and imaging requirements.

- Evaluate images for quality and accurate patient identification.

- Follow ACR MRI safety guidelines, including patient/personnel screening and MR area access control.

- Research implanted devices and apply MRI safety principles to minimize risks.

- Identify and respond appropriately to emergency situations.

- Complete assigned quality assurance and educational activities.

- Educate and monitor students and other healthcare providers.

- Maintain all required clinical, technical, and professional competencies.

Requirements

- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology or MRI Imaging program.

- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT MRI certification.

- BLS – AHA required.

- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, medical terminology, and MRI techniques.

- Ability to work the Tuesday–Friday 12 PM–10:30 PM schedule.

- Willingness to participate in on-call and holiday coverage.
