Support a student's academic journey as a dedicated 1:1 Paraprofessional, providing essential assistance to a student learning Braille throughout the school year. Key Qualifications:

• At least one year of experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting
• Willingness to learn Braille to effectively support a student’s individualized educational needs
• High school diploma or equivalent required; if you do not possess a paraprofessional certificate, 48+ college credits, or an associate's degree or higher, you must obtain a paraprofessional certification within 60 days of hire
• Ability to provide patient, individualized support and encouragement
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with teachers, staff, and students

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a student practicing and learning Braille throughout the school day
• Assist in classroom activities, reinforcing instructional content and helping the student access materials in Braille
• Collaborate with educators to implement personalized support strategies
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to instructional staff
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment

This contract position runs from August 19, 2026, through May 26, 2027, offering consistent weekday hours from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The role is well suited for compassionate paraprofessionals seeking to grow their experience in special education.
