Department Website: Director's EEO Policy : Director's EEO Policy Statement: Job Description And Duties Under the direction of the Caltrans Maintenance Manager II, the Vegetation Management Coordinator (VMC) provides coordination, field oversight, and program support for vegetation management and control activities throughout the district. The incumbent also coordinates with internal and external partners to ensure vegetation management activities, annual PG&E vegetation permit work, and contractor operations comply with applicable environmental, safety, and right-of-way requirements. The position serves as a key liaison between field maintenance crews, contractors, the Vegetation Management Programs, Environmental, Maintenance Managers and Right of Way to ensure vegetation management activities are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with Department standards.
