Essential Duties and Responsibilities: may include the following.

• Palletize cases, pack units in master cartons and apply labels, as necessary. Perform rework requirements.
• Conduct required Quality Assurance inspections.
• Provide back-up assistance to Material Handler.
• Monitor product coding and report problems to Q.A.
• Monitor operation of case packing equipment.
• Sweep area between workstations and remove any trash in these areas.
• General cleanup and waste management
• Bale cardboard as necessary, sweep area and clear of any trash.
• Follow R.C. Bigelow's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Food Safety and Quality processes.
• Comply with R.C. Bigelow Safety and Health Rules
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

High school education or GED; and/or up to one-year related experience or training.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to supervisor and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
