About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial operations and play a pivotal role in the organization's growth and sustainability. The CFO will be responsible for all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, audits, and financial reporting. This role also involves overseeing grant compliance, restricted funding, endowment reporting, and ensuring adherence to nonprofit regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will direct human resources operations, manage a team of finance professionals, and partner with executive leadership and the Board on strategic planning and financial analysis. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive accounting and finance leadership experience, with a strong background in nonprofit accounting and significant grant management. The role requires expertise in budgeting, audits, IRS Form 990 reporting, and board-level financial presentations. The CFO will also be involved in managing risk, insurance programs, vendor relationships, and key operational support functions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ensuring strong internal controls, financial systems, and policies that support long-term organizational success.
