Line Cook

About the Role
Wally's Wine & Spirits is seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your craft, speed, and attention to detail to a premium hospitality environment known for exceptional food, wine, and guest experiences.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook menu items with consistency, quality, and care across multiple kitchen stations.
• Execute dishes during service with strong timing, precision, and attention to presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked station to support smooth kitchen operations.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, labeling, storage, and FIFO procedures.
• Communicate clearly with chefs and fellow team members to ensure seamless service.
• Support opening, closing, prep, portioning, and station setup standards.
• Contribute to a collaborative kitchen culture by assisting teammates when needed.

What We're Looking For

• At least one year of experience in a similar culinary or line cook role.
• Working knowledge of kitchen operations, equipment, prep methods, and service flow.
• Ability to work a variety of stations, including garde manger, pizza, fry, sauté, or meat station.
• Strong attention to quality, plating, timing, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
• A team-oriented mindset with clear communication and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and high-volume service periods.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds.
