Pay: $16–$18 per hour; shift differential available for select shifts

Thrive Behavioral Hospital is seeking reliable, professional, and compassionate Mental Health Technicians to join our team. MHTs provide direct support to patients while helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 25 years old.

• Previous behavioral health or Mental Health Technician experience is preferred.

• Candidates without direct behavioral health experience may be considered if they have a strong customer service background and transferable interpersonal skills.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Comfortable working with a challenging behavioral health population.

• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and follow established procedures.

• Dependable, professional, and committed to providing quality patient care.

• Demonstrated job stability is strongly preferred, ideally remaining with previous employers for at least one year.

• Seeking a long-term opportunity with room to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct supervision and support to patients.

• Monitor patient behavior and promptly report concerns or changes.

• Assist with daily activities, routines, and therapeutic programming.

• Use appropriate de-escalation and crisis-intervention techniques.

• Maintain professional boundaries and communicate respectfully with patients, families, and team members.

• Follow all safety, confidentiality, documentation, and facility procedures.

• Work collaboratively with nurses, clinicians, and other members of the treatment team.
