About You

As the Vice President of Marketing, you lead the development and execution of brand strategy, promotions, paid media, creative development, and digital/owned channels for Noodles & Company. You define how the brand shows up across channels, ensuring consistency in messaging, creative execution, and guest experience while driving business performance.

 

You lead cross-functional teams across brand marketing, campaign planning, channel strategy, and customer acquisition, translating business goals into clear, actionable marketing programs. You partner closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Culinary, and Technology to drive traffic, strengthen loyalty, and support long-term growth through disciplined execution and data-informed decision-making.

Your Day in the Life

• Defines and evolves the Noodles & Company brand positioning and messaging framework.
• Ensures brand consistency across digital, in-restaurant, and external communication touchpoints.
• Partners with internal stakeholders to align brand strategy with business and marketing objectives.
• Leads the annual integrated marketing planning process, aligning messaging and promotional strategy across paid, owned, and in-restaurant channels.
• Oversees execution of branded campaigns and seasonal promotions, ensuring alignment with guest needs and business goals.
• Manages agency relationships to support creative development, media planning, and channel activation.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns are executed effectively across all platforms and restaurant environments.
• Leverages guest data, insights, and research to inform brand and marketing decisions.
• Leads the development of customer segmentation strategies and testing roadmaps.
• Leverage Customer Data Platform (CDP) for more personalized and effective marketing communications.
• Works with Finance and channel leads to measure campaign effectiveness and inform budget allocation decisions.
• Leads and develops a team of brand marketers and insights professionals.
• Builds strong relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration across initiatives.
• Oversees the strategy and execution of paid media channels including third party delivery partners
• Leads an owned-channel/digital team leveraging Noodles loyalty program, digital assets, and SEO.
• Fosters a results-driven, customer-centric culture within the team.
• Works with CMO and peers to manage/lead an internal marketing agency team as well as outside marketing agencies/resources.
• Manages annual and ongoing marketing budget.

 

What You Bring to the Team

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent experience; MBA is a plus.
• 12+ years of experience in brand marketing, integrated campaigns, or customer analytics, preferably in restaurant, retail, or CPG industries.
• Demonstrated success leading marketing strategy and execution across digital and in-store channels.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable marketing strategies.
• Experience managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Executive presence and strong communication skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
• This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in our Support Office in Broomfield, Colorado. We’re seeking candidates who either reside locally or are open to relocating.
