Our client is currently seeking a BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST
Business Systems Analyst (AI Applications Support)Location: Boston, MA 02163
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Ideal Candidate
A successful candidate will combine business analysis expertise with hands-on application support experience , possess strong communication and troubleshooting skills, and be comfortable supporting and administering emerging AI technologies in a dynamic enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities Application Support & Administration
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for AI-powered and enterprise business applications.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve application incidents and user issues.
- Manage user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access controls across AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude, and related applications.
- Configure and maintain application settings to meet business requirements.
- Support application releases, enhancements, patches, and upgrades.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Develop use cases, user stories, process flows, and workflow documentation.
- Collaborate with technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, training materials, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides.
- Develop presentations, reports, and process documentation to support operational and project needs.
- Maintain comprehensive records of system configurations and support activities.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
- Validate new functionality, enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure quality and minimize regression issues.
- Support production deployments and post-release activities.
- Participate in technology initiatives by providing business and technical expertise.
- Partner with business users, vendors, and technical teams to design and implement effective solutions.
- Provide functional support during project go-lives and critical system deployments.
- Assist with special projects and other operational responsibilities as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical support, systems analyst, business analyst, or related role.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and end users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience administering, configuring, or supporting AI applications and platforms.
- Knowledge of Generative AI technologies, including ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar tools.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with APIs, system integrations, reporting, and data analytics.
- Experience gathering business requirements and creating process documentation.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and user acceptance testing.
