Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Special Education Teachers to support students in grades 5 and 6 for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a full-time contract role running from August 2026 through June 2027, with schedules ranging from 32 to 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You’ll play a meaningful role in empowering students to reach their full potential in a supportive and collaborative school environment near Concord, NH.

Two unique positions are open:

• A resource room teacher overseeing a caseload of approximately 15 students.
• A Life Skills/Intensive Needs educator leading a self-contained classroom with three students, each supported by a dedicated paraprofessional.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid certification in Special Education (or eligibility for certification).
• Previous experience working in resource room settings or with students requiring intensive supports, including those with complex medical needs and/or autism spectrum disorders.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Commitment to building inclusive, student-centered learning environments.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs, assess student progress, and adapt instruction as needed.
• Experience working with support staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide differentiated instruction and support based on each student’s needs.
• Develop and monitor IEPs, progress reports, and academic goals.
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and administrators.
• Foster a positive, safe, and nurturing classroom climate.
• Engage families and caregivers as partners in the educational process.
