Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting students’ diverse needs in a dynamic school environment near Concord, NH. Two full-time special education teaching roles are available for the 2026-2027 academic year, specifically serving 5th and 6th graders. Both positions run from August 2026 through June 2027, with schedules spanning Monday through Friday for 32-37.5 hours each week.

The first opening is for a resource room grade-level teacher, managing a caseload of approximately 15 students. In this role, you’ll provide targeted instruction, modify curriculum, and collaborate closely with general education teachers to ensure each child’s learning goals are met.

The second position focuses on a Life Skills/Intensive Needs classroom. Here, you’ll guide three students with complex medical needs and/or autism spectrum disorders in a self-contained setting, working alongside dedicated paraprofessionals to create a supportive, individualized environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Valid certification in Special Education
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Previous work with students with complex needs, autism, or in resource settings preferred
• Ability to adapt instruction for various learning and medical needs
