Requisition #:662901 Location: Johns Hopkins Health Plans, Hanover, MD 21076 Category: Healthcare Operations Schedule: Day Shift Employment Type: Full Time Position Summary The Quality Management Analyst – Credentialing & Legal Appeals is a highly visible role that reports directly to the Credentialing Supervisor. The incumbent is responsible for processing high‑risk credentialing files and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all related activities. Key Responsibilities Coordinate meetings with the Chairman of the Special Credentials Review Committee (SCRC), board members, and legal counsel. Create, prepare, and present reports to the SCRC. Develop risk assessment packets for review. Prepare additional reports as needed. Schedule and attend legal meetings and appeal hearings. Create meeting agendas and minutes. Qualifications Experience (Quality Management Analyst I) – 3 years in a managed care, business, or healthcare environment with proven skills in data analysis, reporting, and meeting coordination. Experience (Quality Management Analyst II) – Minimum 5 years in a managed care, business, or healthcare environment with proven skills in data analysis, reporting, and project coordination. Minimum 3 years of provider credentialing experience and demonstrated experience managing challenging rejected healthcare provider applications in a managed care credentialing environment. Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred (or Bachelor’s degree in business or health‑related field, or Certified Coder with Associates degree). CPMSM or CPCS certification preferred but not required. Compensation Salary Range: Minimum $26.51 per hour – Maximum $43.76 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. Other Information The Hospital reserves the right to modify employee schedules as needed.
