Quality Assurance Analyst w/ Active Top Secret or DHS Clearance

InDev is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst with technical writing responsibilities that bridges the gap between software development and end-users. This hybrid role ensures product functionality and usability, while clearly documenting technical specifications, standard operating procedures, and user-facing manuals.

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Test Case Development: Design, plan, and execute robust testing scripts (manual and automated) to verify system functionality. Defect Management: Identify, log, track, and re-test bugs within issue-tracking systems. Regression Testing: Ensure new feature releases do not negatively impact existing functionalities. Quality Metrics: Monitor system health and generate defect density and test coverage reports. Documentation Maintenance: Author and update release notes, user manuals, FAQs, and knowledge base articles. Process Mapping: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), testing processes, and system design documents. Requirement Analysis: Review product requirements to ensure they are testable and properly documented before development begins.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of QA, testing, documentation, or technical writing experience. Experience supporting Agile software development programs. Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365. Strong writing, editing, analytical, and communication skills.

NICE TO HAVES

STQB, CSTE, CPTC, or related certifications. Experience supporting DHS or other federal civilian agencies. Mobile application testing experience. Clearance: U.S. Citizen; Active DHS Clearance, DoD Top Secret Clearance, or Q-level Clearance.
